Nitro Battle Intensity and Raise Funds to Fight Cancer

The next Nitro home game will be played Saturday, May 19th at Schenectady High School

with a 7:30pm kickoff against the New England Intensity.

This will be the Nitro's breast cancer awareness game and "Locks of Love" Fundraiser as well.

Hair cutting will begin at 5:00pm.

Please come out and support the Nitro in their quest to raise awareness and funds to

fight breast cancer. Wear pink to show your support!

Nitro helps out in Haiti. During the month of April the Nitro shipped clothing and footballs

to His Home For Children, an orphanage in Port au Prince, home to more than

one hundred children.

The Nitro lost to the undefeated Montreal Blitz in Montreal on Saturday. The Nitro will move

on to play in Baltimore Saturday May 12 and hope to bring home a big win for Mother's Day.

The Nitro record falls to 1 and 2 with a loss at home to the Montreal Blitz. The Nitro is gearing

up to travel to Montreal this coming weekend where they will again face the Blitz, this time on

their home turf.

Nitro Fall to Philly on Second-Half Conversion

The Nitro suffered an 8-7 loss to Philadelphia Firebirds in the rain last Saturday. The Nitro scored first with Sarah Bepko kicking the extra point. Philly answered in the second half and converted two points to win the game.

The Montreal Blitz travels to Schenectady to take on the Nitro this Saturday, April 28, 6pm kickoff, Schenectady High School, 1445 The Plaza, Schenectady, NY.

Nitro Win Season Opener

Head Coach Rich Messemer led the Nitro to an impressive shutout victory over Maine this Saturday night. Final score: Nitro 50, Rebels 0. A rounded offensive game plan proved successful as the Nitro spead around the scoring and a strong defensive effort held Maine out of the endzone all night.

The Nitro will host the Philadelphia Firebirds on April 21st at 6pm at their home field:
